Sam and Sage

Sam Averbuck (guitar and vocals) and Sage Snider (violin, mandolin, and vocals) are a duo covering a wide variety of popular music. Sam and Sage met the winter of 2013 performing at Smugglers’ Notch Resort, and still play together whenever they’re both in Vermont. With their extensive musical training, from Sam’s bachelor’s in classical and jazz to Sage’s studies of classical and bluegrass violin since age 3, they’ve each performed and taught in venues ranging from bars, music camps, Yale’s symphony hall, to the Smithsonian, in genres including rock, bluegrass, metal, classical, blues, and old-time music. Combining their diverse skills to create new interpretations of well-known and loved songs, “Sam and Sage” promise to give you a memorable and exhilarating musical experience.
